A call to healing, wholeness, and God-given purpose.
A call to healing, wholeness, and God-given purpose.
Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, CEO and Founder, Impact Mental Wellness
Are you struggling with feelings of anxiety, unhappiness, or being overwhelmed? You are not alone, and you do not have to navigate this journey by yourself.
My name is Stephanie Anyaoha. I am a DMV-based, Nigerian-American board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner, spoken word artist, and two-time author. I find solace in words that heal, inspire, and ignite the fire within. Isaiah 61:1 is a constant reminder that there is beauty in our brokenness and that God uses our brokenness for His masterpiece. Your purpose is often birthed from pain, so don't waste your pain.
I have poured that belief into my two published books, Reflections of a Hopeful Romantic and Reflections of a Woman of Faith, both available on Amazon and Audible. Through poetry and prose, these works explore the intersection of love, faith, healing, and self-discovery, themes that are at the heart of everything I do as a provider.
I believe in treating the whole person, mind, body, and spirit, and I incorporate faith-based principles into my practice for those who desire it. My approach is centered on getting to the root of the problem so you don't have to keep dealing with the growth of the seed. Every treatment plan I create is personalized to your unique medical history, symptoms, goals, and preferences.

I started my career as a Certified Nursing Assistant and advanced through every level of nursing education. I earned my Associate Degree in Nursing from Centra College of Nursing, my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University, and my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Liberty University. I went on to complete my Master of Science in Nursing with a focus in Healthcare Informatics from Grand Canyon University and my Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Post-Master's Certificate from Walden University.
Over 15 years in healthcare, I have acquired multi-faceted experience at the intersections of clinical nursing, leadership, and mental health. I also bring a unique perspective as a mental health provider stemming from my own journey to becoming whole and healed. I know what it means to do the work, and I know the freedom that waits on the other side.
One of my former nursing professors once told me, "You're going to become a nurse, but first, a teacher, because you need to teach your patients how to prevent future complications." Those words have guided me throughout my career and shaped me into the provider I am today. I don't just treat symptoms. I equip you with the understanding and tools to protect your wellness for the long term.
My deepest aspiration is to love and value others the way I love and value myself, and to approach every individual as worthy of my very best work. I desire to help people heal and rediscover themselves in order to show up fully, authentically, and walk in their God-given purpose with joy.

Stephanie's passion for healing extends beyond the clinical setting. She is a published author of two books:
Both are available on Amazon and Audible.
She is also an accomplished spoken word poet, using the power of language and storytelling to inspire, uplift, and connect with audiences on a deeper level. Her creative work reflects the same heart she brings to her clinical practice: authenticity, hope, and the belief that our stories matter.
